Rotary Uganda Visit 2021.
Midvalley Rotary will be leading a trip to Uganda in September. The trip is in conjunction with our Global Grant Fish Farming and Food Crop Demonstration Farm Projects.
As we travel in the heart of Africa, we will aim to accomplish several goals.
- Visit the global grant project sites and meet with community members. We will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of the project and see how it is impacting the local communities. We will also be able to meet with members of our partner club, Rotary Mbale.
- Provide hands-on service (project still being developed) in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement.
- Evaluate potential future global grant projects in Nakivale and other communities in Uganda.
- Support the local economy as we travel a lesser known but beautiful nation. Gorilla trek, rhino sanctuary, photography game drives, rafting the Nile River and many other adventures await!
Rotarians, family, friends and anyone else interested are welcome!
