Strengthen Your Club with Courses Focused on Diversity

Strengthen your club with courses focused on diversity

A club is only as strong as its culture. These diversity and inclusion courses in the Learning Center offer useful tips on how to cultivate a positive culture in your club. You can learn about ways to assess and improve your club in these courses:

  • Creating a welcoming environment starts with having conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Creating an Inclusive Club Culture course will help your club hold these discussions, evaluate its policies and practices, and make changes that will create a more inclusive culture.
  • Microaggressions are statements or actions that offend people or make them feel unwelcome by reinforcing negative stereotypes or asserting power dynamics. The Microaggressions course will help you understand the harmful impact of these behaviors and learn how to respond to them in ways that uphold Rotary’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Diverse clubs attract more members, reflect Rotary’s core values, and expand our ability to make a difference. In the Diversify Your Club course, you’ll find strategies for diversifying your club and building relationships with new groups. A club that includes people with different backgrounds and perspectives has a broader understanding of the community, the issues it faces, and possible solutions.
